Publication Ethics
International Journal of Social Sciences and Business Research (IJSSBR) is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity, transparency, fairness and ethical scholarly publishing.
Ethical Commitment
IJSSBR seeks to ensure that all manuscripts are handled in a fair, confidential and academically responsible manner. Authors, editors, reviewers and the publisher are expected to maintain ethical conduct throughout the submission, peer-review, publication and post-publication process.
Responsibilities of Authors
✓ Submit original and academically valid research.
✓ Properly acknowledge and cite all sources used.
✓ Avoid plagiarism, fabrication and falsification of data.
✓ Avoid duplicate or simultaneous submission of the same manuscript.
✓ Ensure that all listed authors have made appropriate contributions.
✓ Disclose relevant conflicts of interest and funding sources.
✓ Obtain required ethical approval and participant consent where applicable.
✓ Correct significant errors identified in published or submitted work.

Authorship and Contributions
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made a meaningful scholarly contribution to the conception, design, execution, analysis or preparation of the manuscript.
All authors should approve the final manuscript and accept responsibility for the integrity of the work. Individuals who contributed but do not meet authorship criteria should be appropriately acknowledged.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original. Material taken from other sources must be properly quoted, paraphrased and cited. Suspected plagiarism, inappropriate text reuse or duplicate publication may result in rejection or other appropriate editorial action under the IJSSBR Plagiarism Policy.
Research Data and Integrity
Research findings must be reported accurately and honestly. Fabrication, falsification, selective manipulation or misleading presentation of research data is considered unacceptable. Authors may be asked to provide supporting information where necessary to clarify concerns about the integrity of the research.
Research Involving Human Participants or Animals
Where applicable, authors should obtain approval from an appropriate ethics or institutional review body before conducting research involving human participants or animals. Informed consent, confidentiality and participant rights should be protected in accordance with relevant ethical and institutional requirements.

✓ Declare conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment.
✓ Report suspected plagiarism or ethical concerns to the editorial team.

Conflict of Interest
Authors, editors and reviewers should disclose any financial, professional, institutional, personal or academic relationships that could reasonably influence the research, review process or editorial decision. Conflicts should be appropriately managed to protect the impartiality of the publication process.
Confidentiality
Submitted manuscripts and related correspondence are treated as confidential scholarly material. Editors and reviewers must not disclose manuscript content or use unpublished information for personal, academic or commercial advantage.
Duplicate and Redundant Publication
Manuscripts submitted to IJSSBR should not be under simultaneous consideration by another journal. Substantial republication of previously published material without appropriate disclosure, citation or legitimate scholarly justification is not acceptable.
Handling Publication Misconduct
IJSSBR takes allegations of publication misconduct seriously. Concerns may include plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, inappropriate authorship, undisclosed conflicts of interest, duplicate publication or unethical research practices.
Where credible concerns arise, the journal may seek clarification from the authors, examine relevant evidence and take appropriate editorial action according to the seriousness of the matter.
Corrections and Post-Publication Action
If significant errors or ethical concerns are identified after publication, IJSSBR may issue a correction, clarification, editorial notice, expression of concern, retraction or other appropriate action to protect the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.

The publisher supports the editorial independence of IJSSBR and seeks to maintain appropriate systems for ethical publication, preservation of scholarly content, transparency of journal policies and responsible handling of publication concerns.
